I have to say that when the first box arrived (very quick delivery) I was ready to send it back - How could they get a 4' 6" divan bed in a box measuring 1 metre long by 30cm x 30cm? The second box arrived the next day (still very speedy delivery) containing the headboard, slats etc. You can see that a good bit of thought went into designing this bed compared to the old ones that were very flimsy. The slats are actually metal bars (a big improvement on the old wooden slats) and all went together easily. I'm very impressed with the quality and the appearance of the bed and would highly recommend it to anybody looking for a new bed base & headboard.

quite surprised of the quality and how easy it is to put togheter, very strong bed and a good value for the money. defo would recomand. Not the best there is but a lot better than what i was expecting.

I was reluctant to buy this bed as there were no reviews but we have just put it together and im so glad i bought it. Really good quality, lovely looking and very strong. No wooden slats, theyre thick metal ones. I dont usually bother with reviews but im so happy with it. The drawers are nice and big too.

Like a previous reviewer, I was most concerned when 2 thin boxes arrived instead of 2 big boxes looking like a bed. My husband put this bed with drawers together in no time and it was so well constructed and sturdy. The metal bars will support the mattress and sleepers well. The drawers will hold plenty bedding. I’m so impressed by this bed when considering it was such good value. Don’t be put off when it arrives, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
