Heavy, well constructed bed that looks great. Care needed when opening the base as it does fly open quickly much better control once mstress is ontop. My only concern was a single person on delivery. He tried to drag each based along the pavement and down our steps until my husband stepped in otherwise the whole base would have been damaged!!

We looked at beds for a while and decided we didnt want the open slat ottoman bed. This bed, although not the cheapest, is definitely a case of ‘you get what you pay for’! Sturdy and really well made! There are 4 pistons on a king size bed which stay up without support, even with a heavy 10” mattress on top. This makes getting stuff out easy. The outer fabric is good quality and the headboard is well made and well padded. Overall a nice looking bed with excellent dust free storage.

Good communications with the seller, we had to change the delivery date and this was no problem. The bed comes in two halves to allow it to go up a flight of stairs. But even so, it a a two person job as both halves are sturdy. The assembly is simple, but needs care, The opening pistons are fierce and all movements need to be dome carefully, to remove the legs from the inside for example. Once assembled and the mattress placed on top, the storage opens calmly. A good night's sleep so far.

The bed has plenty of storage. Feels sold and ca comfortable sleep. My only bug bear was when unwrapped the otterman lift up part was taped down and instructions said to leave the strapping on till the mattress was on top, this turned out to be very difficult as the feet and headboard parts were inside the taped up otterman part of the bed! Doh!!
